The process for my choreography for my dance to "Reel Around the Sun" is coming along pretty well.  I am about half way through the dance.  In the beginning, I got kind of frustrated because I had trouble thinking of a way to start the dance.  The song starts out slow so I had to think of slow counts of eights to start.  I ended up thinking of steps that went well with the music.  Then, as the music picked up, I had trouble fitting combinations with the very fast paced part of the song.  It took me a while, but I finally thought of steps that fit well with the beat.  I am pretty proud of what I have come up with so far and am anxious to see how the whole thing turns out.

The choreography for my dance is coming along well, and I only have about twenty or thirty seconds left to make up.  I am not having very much trouble with this dance anymore.  I was in the beginning because I haven't done Irish dancing in a while.  But now, it is pretty easy.  I am only having trouble with one part.  There are not many beat/music changes in this song.  For one of the music changes, I am having trouble thinking of what step to put there.  I can not really think of a step that fits well.  I am getting frustrated.  I am proud that I have created a whole dance on my own and that I will be performing it.  I have never choreographed my own dance before and I can't wait to see how it turns out when I'm finally done.

I am really happy with how my presentation of the dance turned out.  Everyone seemed to like it and I didn't slip like I was afraid I was going to.  I didn't mess up at all.  But I think that I could have smiled more.  Sometimes, I stopped smiling because I was worried about slipping on the floor.  All of my steps flowed well and I stayed with the music.  Overall, I am very happy with how it turned out.
